    • Mark Mahle


    • Mark Mahle has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry — with leadership roles in R&D, Marketing, Customer Service and Business Development.

      He has a passion for and perspective of cloud technology that comes from those decades in the technology industry. Mahle was responsible for the development VMWare’s customer-facing web properties. Mahle’s teams integrated VMware product’s and back office services, driving hundreds of thousands of leads through VMware’s global sales pipeline. He was responsible for 100 applications, including the world’s largest Fortune 500 enterprise software community, and grew the company from $300 million to over $2 billion in revenue.

      Prior to VMware, Mahle led the Web Marketing development team at WebEx (Acquired by Cisco) and held roles working on WebEx’s SAAS API’s and Business Development for Telecom Partners.

      In addition to his duties at NetActuate, Mahle is managing director of Coherently, a privately funded incubator with interests in mobile, social, web and SaaS research and development. He is an open source evangelist, contributing to and supporting countless projects, including web services and cloud technologies, as well as building zero-downtime, HA architectures.

      He also serves as director of several companies and spends time between California and Asia with his wife and two children.

    • Mark Price


    • Mark Price has always loved technology. It was his primary focus at Judson College in the late 90’s and completed his degree in Information Technology at NCSU while working on its network operations group.

      Price implemented state-wide security policies and procedures for the state of North Carolina whole a WAN engineer while working for the Wake County court system, which are still in place. It was his first job out of college and exposed him to zero downtime, critical service wire-line network and infrastructure components.

      Founding Tranquil Hosting in 2005, Price initially focused his datacenter and IT services on the greater Raleigh metro area. It expanded throughout the USA, adding sites in Ashburn, Dallas, and San Jose as well as internationally in Karlsruhe, Germany in a decade.

      In 2015, Tranquil Hosting merged with Host Virtual, forming NetActuate, Inc. Price and his teams are responsible for all global infrastructure, operations and support.

    • Sandy Bhargavi


    • Sandy Bhargavi has built a career bridging the technical and non-technical worlds, focusing on people, operations and collaboration. People and cultures have always interested her, and she has a deep appreciation for technology that has enhanced global communication and mobility. Bhargavi has a Bachelors in Sociology, and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.

      Bhargavi has worked closely on many fronts to deliver customer satisfaction. Her 20-year career started with a startup Netgateway in Los Angeles, managing product delivery. She transitioned to customer support and service roles at another startup, WebEx in Silicon Valley, in early 2000. She worked with many different groups and took on many different roles, including management of advanced technical (tier 4 operations) teams and running PMO (post-Cisco acquisition) during her nine years at the organization. She excelled at cross-functional teams collaboration and intrepreneurial endeavors.

      Bhargavi then turned to management and technology consulting, focusing on globalization and cross-functional team integration, including roles at Encore Software Services and IPC, the Hospitalist Company.

      She loves animals, especially dogs, and is always planning on a trip somewhere.

    • Dennis Durling


    • Dennis Durling served with the Navy in the late ‘80s, driven by an interest in technology and serving his country. He took part in Operation Desert Storm on the USS Rushmore (LSD-47), an amphibious assault ship.

      Following his enlistment, Durling learned more about UNIX while spending time at a local linux ISP running bulletin board service. This lead to roles that spanned dial-up, DSL to fiber-to-the home in support, system/network administration, telephony, and development both in startups and Fortune 500 companies such as Cisco and NetApp.

      At NetAcutate, Durling works on architecture, regex, and deep diving stack traces as he works with the greater team on implementing the code that powers our global platform — while embracing his role as huggable kurmudgeon.

      He also competes in amateur latte art competitions in the Pacific Northwest and is the company’s resident barista — if you’re in the California office, ask him for a cup of coffee!

    • Mandie Sellars

      Director of Marketing and Communications

    • Mandie Sellars leads all of NetActuate's marketing and communications initiatives. She makes sure both current and future clients fully understand the many benefits of partnering with NetActuate for cloud, colocation, connectivity and managed services. She joined the NetActuate team in March 2018.

      For over 17 years, Sellars served as a communications and information technology leader for both local and global nonprofit organizations. While facing the challenges that many nonprofits face each day, she developed streamlined, comprehensive website and digital marketing strategies that saw major increases in reach and giving while keeping costs within budget. As a consultant, Sellars collaborated with over 30 nonprofits and businesses to create and support customized solutions that made her clients’ lives easier – and effectively reached and engaged more people.

      Sellars received her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from UNC Chapel Hill, with a focus on information systems and multimedia. She lives in Durham, NC, with her husband and two children. In addition to her work at NetActuate, she serves on the board of the Carolina Justice Policy Center.

    • Vern McDonald

      Director of Sales

    • Vern McDonald served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served his country with the 4th Landing Support Battalion ("Red Patchers") and found his calling to serve, collaborate and lead others.

      After his service to his country, he began a 20+ year career in working with people and technology. In the mid-90's he started working at Aerotek/TEKsystems where he lead both recruiting and sales teams to deliver staffing and consulting solutions to a wide range of customers in the US. He helped pioneer some of the industry's leading methodologies still used in today's technology consulting and staffing arena. At Microsoft, Vern managed a staff of 150+ consultants within their Azure Infrastructure (IaaS) consulting in North America, helping customers ultimately obtain their IT goals of shifting their stack from on-prem to the cloud. As a Raleigh native for over 20 years, he has also served on many local IT group boards.

      When not running sales efforts at NetActuate, Vern spends time with his wife Kellie and their 3 children (Chase, Carson & Claire). He enjoys spending time coaching youth athletics and is an Assistant Scout Master for a local Boy Scout troop.
