How do I deploy an appliance?
Choose an appliance and use its Deploy on NetActuate button to talk to our team. We provision it on a NetActuate virtual machine in the point of presence you select. Every deployment runs in a single location that you pick on the map.
How is the marketplace billed?
You pay NetActuate's standard compute rates for the virtual-machine size and location you choose. Open-source appliances are free to run on the platform, and there are no usage-based or per-hour software fees. Bring-your-own-license appliances additionally require a license from the software vendor.
What is the difference between open-source and BYOL appliances?
Most listings are open-source: free to run, with NetActuate building and validating the image. Bring-your-own-license (BYOL) appliances are commercial or partner software - you supply your own license, or a partner-provided trial, which is applied securely when the appliance first boots and is never stored in listings or logs.

Who supports the software I deploy?
