Core Features

Global Anycast Routing

What it is?

Enables user traffic from anywhere in the world to reach the closest and fastest available location using intelligent BGP-based routing. NetActuate peers with thousands of networks to ensure routing efficiency and reliability across regions.

Why it matters?

Reduces latency, improves application responsiveness, and ensures automatic failover in case of outages.

Included IPv4/IPv6 Space

What it is?

We provide you with a class C (/24) and /48 of IPv6 space to use as part of every Anycast Platform commitment. You can use this for production or development. We SWIP the space to you and provide LOA, so it's also possible to use the space off platform or in mixed anycast deployments.

Why it matters?

Eliminates delays in IP procurement and simplifies network planning. Gives you flexibility and control over how and where your prefixes are used.

BYOIP / LOA Support

What it is?

Unlimited BYOIP prefixes, announced to us from you or downstream. Use features like auto IRR and RPKI validation. We help automate and manage the entire process. Your IP space can be optimized with our automated tooling

Why it matters?

Retain IP ownership and get full value from your existing allocations. Ensures global availability while simplifying routing compliance.

Use Own ASN

What it is?

You're able to use your own ASN(s) for prefix announcements or have us announce for you. We can even do origin rewriting so you appear to have your own global network without managing BGP.

Why it matters?

Gives you flexibility for branding, control, and policy while removing operational burden when needed.

BGP Optional / Origin Rewriting

What it is?

You don't need to run BGP, but you can. We offer announcement-as-a-service with origin rewriting to reflect your ASN, enabling simple deployment without routing complexity.

Why it matters?

Allows non-networking teams to use Anycast and present a custom ASN externally without configuration.

Self-Service BGP Session Management

What it is?

Spin up or delete BGP sessions instantly through our portal or API, with no manual configuration required.

Why it matters?

Saves time, reduces errors, and automates infrastructure scaling for fast-growing networks.

Regional Routing Granularity

What it is?

Assign specific prefixes (e.g. /32, /29) to individual POPs or regions using BGP tags. We home announcements to those POPs specifically, irrespective of where the route enters our network.

Why it matters?

Enforce regulatory or compliance boundaries (e.g. GDPR), control traffic locality, or build multi-region environments within a global prefix space.

ECMP Load Balancing

What it is?

Horizontal traffic distribution across multiple backend workers within a POP using Equal-Cost Multi-Path routing. Configurable via API or UI.

Why it matters?

Improves performance and resilience by balancing requests across servers automatically.

Multi-Network Architecture

What it is?

Deploy multiple Anycast groups with different POPs, hardware platforms, and upstream providers. For example, you can create a primary network running on x86 hardware with Tier 1 transit for your production DNS, a secondary group on AMD hardware using a separate path for redundancy, and a tertiary network using lightweight virtual instances for cost-optimized overflow or testing.

Why it matters?

Enables true multi-path and multi-environment deployments that tolerate failures in geography, hardware, or upstream routing.

Hybrid Provider Support

What it is?

We provide LOAs, BGP tagging, and policy controls so you can operate across NetActuate and third-party providers, including hyperscale and edge platforms.

Why it matters?

Avoid vendor lock-in while optimizing delivery from anywhere in the world.

Auto IRR + RPKI Updates

What it is?

Automatically publishes valid IRR/RPKI entries for prefixes announced to our platform, reducing time and ensuring best practices.

Why it matters?

Ensures clean global propagation without delays or third-party support tickets.

BGP Community Support

What it is?

Over 100 BGP communities available for traffic steering, region control, provider preferences, or blackholing.

Why it matters?

Offers enterprise-grade control in a simple-to-use platform.

Automated 24x7 Route Optimization

What it is?

Our NOC and optimization engines continuously monitor network health and optimize announcements based on reachability, latency, and loss.

Why it matters?

Prevents outages and maintains best-path performance globally.

Bandwidth Pooling by Region

What it is?

Bandwidth billed on a per-GB model, aggregated across data centers within each region. Flat-rate, 95th percentile, and unmetered billing options available.

Why it matters?

Keeps costs predictable and supports global growth without overspending.

DDoS Mitigation

What it is?

1 Tbps of DDoS mitigation included, with multi-provider coverage and custom policies.

Why it matters?

Keeps your service online under attack. Additional options and 3rd-party integrations available at no extra cost.

Dual Stack IPv4/IPv6

What it is?

Every feature and function works across both IP families with no added configuration.

Why it matters?

Future-proofs your deployment and ensures maximum compatibility.

DevOps Automation Support

What it is?

Deploy, update, and manage networks using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools with our pre-built playbooks and API.

Why it matters?

Reduces human error and speeds up operational workflows.

Self-Service + API Access

What it is?

Everything you see in the portal is available via secure, documented APIs.

Why it matters?

Lets developers treat infrastructure as code while supporting advanced users.

24x7x365 Managed NOC / Real-Time ChatOps

What it is?

Our team monitors your stack, responds to alerts, and communicates with your team using your defined workflows.

Why it matters?

You don’t need a network team. We become an extension of yours.

Dedicated SLA(s)

What it is?

We provide dedicated service level agreements for customers with multi-site deployments, including guaranteed response times, uptime guarantees, and premium SLAs for support or platform customizations.

Why it matters?

Ensures that critical applications receive the operational reliability, response time, and support alignment they require for enterprise-class deployments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are BGP Anycast groups?

At NetActuate, BGP Anycast groups are a unique combination of routing policies, transit providers, DDoS mitigation, prefixes, and resources like BGP sessions attached to them. Each group has its own unique controls, includes all dedicated resources/features mentioned here, and is billed independently.
