Flashphoner Web Call Server 5 (WCS5) is a commercial real-time media server built around WebRTC. It powers browser-to-browser and browser-to-SIP video calls, live streaming to and from WebRTC, and low-latency delivery, with interop across RTMP, RTSP, SIP, MPEG-TS and WebSocket so a single server bridges web clients and traditional streaming and telephony stacks. Deployed from the NetActuate marketplace it boots configured from your seeded values and auto-detects its public address for WebRTC ICE, so it is ready to serve minutes after first boot in any of NetActuate's PoPs.

This appliance wraps the official public Flashphoner Web Call Server Docker image (flashphoner/webcallserver, build 5.3.458) on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. The HTTPS admin console is on port 8444 (path /admin/); browser demo applications are served on 8444 (HTTPS) and 8081 (HTTP); WebRTC media uses the UDP range 31001-32000.

BYOL: Flashphoner WCS is a commercial product and needs a license or trial key. Bring your key (request a trial at flashphoner.com), supply it at deploy, and the appliance activates it on first boot; you can also enter it on first logon to the admin console. The key is delivered through the platform secret pipeline and never appears in any API response. NetActuate packages and hosts the appliance and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Flashphoner.
