mediasoup Demo is the official reference application for mediasoup, the open-source WebRTC SFU (Selective Forwarding Unit) library. This appliance packages the mediasoup-demo server and its browser app, built from upstream source into a single self-contained Docker image, as a NetActuate VM that boots ready to use. Deploy it in any NetActuate PoP and you have a private, multiparty WebRTC videoconference demo minutes after first boot.

Free and open source mediasoup and mediasoup-demo are open source under the ISC license. There is no license key and no per-seat cost: run your own real-time video backend on the NetActuate edge, close to your users, with full control of your media.
Note This is the upstream mediasoup reference demo, intended to showcase and exercise the mediasoup library, not a hardened multi-tenant production service. End-to-end WebRTC media requires the instance's announced address to be reachable at the edge (a deploy-time follow-up); the demo web app answers on the HTTPS port regardless.
