Norsk by id3as is an API-first engine for live media processing and live production. Build low-code live workflows with Norsk Studio (ingest, transcode, packaging, graphics and mixing, HLS/DASH and WebRTC delivery) and drive them programmatically through the Norsk SDK. Deployed from the NetActuate marketplace it runs the official Norsk container on a dedicated VM in any of NetActuate's PoPs, close to your contributors and your audience.
This appliance wraps the official public norskvideo/norsk container (id3as, image version 1.0.401) on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. It is bring-your-own-license (BYOL): supply your Norsk license and the appliance boots licensed and ready. The publicWeb endpoint on :8080 serves HLS/DASH and WebRTC players; the supportWeb endpoint on :6791 hosts the media visualizer, Prometheus metrics and docs; the SDK gRPC service stays internal to the instance.
