Platform
The Platform overview page provides a dashboard of your account's platform resources and tools. Navigate to Platform in the left sidebar to access it.
Dashboard
The overview page displays:
- Active data centers — count of data centers where you have resources
- Secrets — number of secrets stored in your account
- OIDC clients — number of configured OIDC clients
- Custom OS images — count of your custom images
- Upcoming maintenance — scheduled maintenance events across your locations
Looking Glass
An inline Looking Glass tool is embedded directly on the overview page. Select a command type (Ping, MTR, or Traceroute), choose a source location from any NetActuate data center, enter a target hostname or IP, and view the output directly on the page.
Maintenance Map
A world map displays upcoming data center maintenance. Click any location marker to check its operational status and learn more about the data center.

Recent NetActuate news items are shown at the bottom of the overview page. Click any item to read the full article on the NetActuate website.
Sections
- Tags — label and filter resources by environment, team, project, or custom category
- Data Centers — reference view of all NetActuate points of presence with specifications and maintenance status
- Looking Glass — full-featured ping, MTR, and traceroute tool from any NetActuate location
- News — platform announcements and blog content from the NetActuate website
- OS Images — browse available operating system images and manage custom images for VM deployments
- Cloud VLANs — view and request provisioning of NetActuate-managed global VLANs
- Secrets — store key-value pairs and files for injection into VMs at deploy time via cloud-init templates
