Get started with Balancer

Set up access before you send traffic through your first HTTP load balancer.

Note: Balancer is in beta. Endpoints, fields and behavior may change before general availability, and the feature must be enabled on your account before use. Contact your NetActuate account manager to request access.

Follow the setup sequence​

  1. Review prerequisites and invitation access.
  2. Sign in and choose a context.
  3. Create a restricted API key.
  4. Create a load balancer and origin.
  5. Create a group and route.
  6. Point DNS.
  7. Verify traffic.

Use https://<your-api-host> as your API base URL. The host is shown in the Balancer portal. Examples use $BALANCER_API_KEY for an existing credential with the required access.
