Sign in and choose a context

Choose the account or organization you intend to manage before you create resources.

Sign in

1. Open https://portal.balancer.com and enter your email.
2. Enter your password and, when requested, your six-digit MFA code.
3. Choose an account or organization context.
4. Verify the selected context before making changes.

Verify available contexts through the API

Use https://<your-api-host> as your API base URL. The host is shown in the Balancer portal. Examples use $BALANCER_API_KEY for an existing credential with the required access.

Use your sign-in bearer credential for this request:

Expect HTTP 200 with data.accounts and data.organizations. Compare the returned names with the context you chose. Access to one account does not grant access to another.
